2. The personal data we collect

- Enquiry details: the information you give us when you fill in our enquiry form or email us, such as your requirements and any messages you send.

- From publicly available sources such as Companies House, and from credit reference agencies when you apply for a trade account.
4. How we use your data and our lawful bases
Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your personal data. We use it as follows:

- Google, as our analytics provider, only if you consent to analytics cookies;
- HM Revenue & Customs, regulators, law enforcement or other authorities, where the law requires it.
Anyone who processes data on our behalf must keep it secure and use it only on our instructions.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside the UK. When this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place. These include transfers to countries with UK adequacy regulations, or the International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Customer, order and financial records: 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as required by UK company and tax law.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months, if you have consented.
After these periods, we securely delete or anonymise the data.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

- rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- erasure: ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances;

10. How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. These include encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our website, access controls and secure email providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Our website and services are aimed at businesses and are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
